My Story

In 2023, i suffered a life-threatening ruptured brain aneurysm that profoundly impacted my life in ways most people may never fully understand.

What followed was a long and challenging recovery- one that demanded patience, courage and an incredible amount of inner strength. Day by day, step by step, i worked tirelessly to rebuild not only my physical strength but also my mental and emotional resilience.

Where many might have struggled to find a way forward, i chose to fight- to regain control and discover the person i had always been before that life-changing night.

Through a two-year rollercoster of emotions and personal struggle, i found the strength within me - the part that i refused to become a prisoner to my condition.

This run isn't just about crossing the finishing line; it's a celebration of everything i have overcome and continue to face each day.

I am running for this fantastic charity to give back to the people, research and support systems that help others facing similar battles.

Every mile i run carries a meaning:

.For those still in recovery.

.For the families supporting their loved ones.

.For the future of brain injury research and care.

Although i am still under the care of my surgeon and medical team, i am taking on this run to prove what is possible - and to show that a brain injury does not define who you are.

If my story inspires you, please consider supporting my journey- and, most importantly this incredible charity.
